EU Bans/Restricts 9 Cosmetic Ingredients

New EU regulations impact nine cosmetic ingredients.

The EU Commission has published several amendments to the EU Cosmetic Products Regulation (CPR). The move bans or restricts nine cosmetic ingredients: • 4-methylbenzylidene camphor, • Genistein, • Daidzein, • Kojic acid,  • Retinol/retinyl acetate/retinyl palmitate, • Alpha arbutin, • Arbutin, • Triclosan and • Triclocarban.  More information is available in the Official Journal of the European Union....
